WAVES Overview

The Website Administration & Visual Editing System, a dynamic web site editor/generator, is one of Aptinet's most useful and powerful tools.  WAVES currently manages numerous client web sites, including sites that exceed 15,000 pages!  As a part of Aptinet's goal to provide superior client services, WAVES gives our clients unparalleled control over their internet presence.

Unlike most conventional web sites, which consist of static HTML pages, a WAVES web site is held in what's known as a relational database.  The site's structure, look, content, and navigation are drawn dynamically from a "common pool."  This allows site components to be changed independently in a simple, secure, and speedy manner.  Clients are thus able to make major or minor changes without costly programming fees or other outside intervention.  Very little training is required, and WAVES is readily accessible from any internet connection.
