WYSIWYG Editor

In the past, site editors would hand their web changes to a webmaster to be published because of their lack of familiarity with HTML. WAVES allows anyone in an organization to make a variety of changes to a website without any working knowledge of HTML.

Very little training is required to master the processes, as editors make changes on screens that are visually identical to their live counterparts. Images and copy are manipulated within an interface that mimics a Windows-based word processing screen, and first-time users quickly familiarize themselves.

The management of content within WAVES can be broken down into two primary areas, page editing and site management. Page editing is accomplished through the familiar WYSIWYG (“what you see is what you get”) window. The broader scale of site management then organizes the individual pages/sections into a fully dynamic directory tree. WAVES gives site administrators and editors the ability to add any number of pages and sub-pages, so the scale of the site is virtually unlimited.
