Approval System
Once page editing takes place, the WAVES site generator applies the changes and creates a revised site. This is what's known as a test or "staging site", which runs parallel to the live site.
When changes are made, WAVES automatically checks for broken links and warns/prevents editors from making changes that adversely affect other site sections.
The site generator is flexible enough to interpret multiple templates in multiple formats (e.g. frames, layers, javascript, XML, etc). Generation can occur dynamically or in batches, depending on schedules, bandwidth, and other user-defined variables. If anything on the staging site is unacceptable, WAVES maintains constant log files, which allow the administrator to revert to any previous version of site content. |
