Options abound when it comes to the recommended e-commerce approach, and each client has their own unique requirements.  Product databases can be completely customized with respect to management and front-end display.  Payment processing can take place on the client site and/or with familiar 3rd-party payment processors.  Transactions can be handled in real-time or in specified batches.  Integration with inventory applications, fulfillment houses, or other affiliates is completely flexible.
